Summary
PDSVISION North America provides industrial tools, solutions, and professional services for enterprise-wide digital transformation and digital thread initiatives. The PLM Implementation Engineer I supports PTC Windchill implementations through configuration, deployments, data migration, testing, integrations, maintenance, and troubleshooting while developing technical expertise under the guidance of experienced engineers.
Responsibilities
- Execute defined technical tasks within PTC Windchill implementations under guidance
- Configure and support PTC Windchill environments and PLM modules
- Support system blueprinting and proof-of-concept activities
- Assist with data migration from legacy systems into PTC Windchill
- Participate in testing and validation to ensure configurations meet requirements
- Document technical specifications, configurations, and implementation details
- Support integrations between Windchill and external systems, including ERP, MES, and CPQ platforms
- Contribute to digital thread implementation initiatives
- Assist with Windchill Critical Patch updates and system maintenance
- Troubleshoot basic Windchill configuration and implementation issues
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience
- Previous hands-on experience working with PLM systems, with experience in PTC Windchill required
- Experience supporting PLM implementations, configurations, deployments, or related technical activities
- Working knowledge of PLM concepts, processes, and system functionality
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to apply technical knowledge in customer and implementation environments
- You have a foundational understanding of PLM and Windchill and are motivated to deepen your technical expertise
- You take direction well while building toward greater independence
- You approach technical problems methodically and are comfortable troubleshooting
- You collaborate effectively with technical teams and customers
- You're detail-oriented and take pride in producing accurate, high-quality work
- Remote-first role with a professional home workspace required
- Occasional travel may be required for customer visits, training, or company meetings
- This position must be performed from an approved work location within the United States. Applicants must reside in and perform all work from an approved a location within the United States. Remote work from outside the United States is not permitted
