Summary
Phoenix Children's is a pediatric health system focused on advancing healthcare for children and their families. The Supply Systems Analyst designs, configures, supports, and maintains vendor-supplied software and integrated data systems, including ERP and inventory management systems, while developing reports and supporting Supply Chain, Finance, Human Resources, and related business systems.
Responsibilities
- Acts as a liaison with operations community to ensure continuing responsiveness of applicable system software
- Gathers business requirements. Ensures the maintenance of adequate software systems documentation. Provides technical assistance and training to users of systems, with little or no instruction or mentoring
- Complies with and contributes to system configuration and system change control standards and guidelines
- Maintains status of tasks, defects, and issues and supports requests daily in each respective tool
- With general guidance, designs and implements medium complexity system solutions across multiple departments and serves in key technical roles throughout the vendor-supplied software lifecycle
- May be required to come on campus during off-shift hours and provide after-hours call support
- Configures and unit tests the system as specified in the business and technical requirements to meet configuration exit criteria according to schedule
- Identifies system constraints or gaps in business requirements and effectively communicates issues/risks to the appropriate leader in a timely manner
- Translates business requirements into technical design and maintains comprehensive technical documentation
- Works collaboratively with vendors and colleagues to analyze problems and propose recommended solutions that meet both business and technical needs
- Performs miscellaneous job related duties as requested
