Responsibilities
- Understand global and domestic legislative landscape, specifically related to content and IP laws, to inform prioritization
- Own and drive the Compliance Engineering product roadmap, including tools for rights holders, legal reporting channels, and associated internal workflows
- Partner with Engineering to identify and build systems and features that scale across legislation
- Own and improve suite of copyright and trademark tools to allow rights holders to manage their content at scale
- Lead key compliance projects, partnering with Legal, Operations, Policy, Engineering and other product teams across Pinterest
Skills
- 3+ years of experience in a role related to product development, at fast-growing technology companies
- Experience and demonstrated passion for legal and/or copyright/rights-related initiatives
- Proven ability to lead teams and work in a highly collaborative environment
- Capable of driving clarity while balancing multiple perspectives and stakeholders
- Comfortable diving into ambiguous technical problems, working closely with engineering teams
- Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly in writing and verbally to many stakeholders
- Great business judgment and ability to influence others with strong analytical thinking
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, or equivalent experience
