Summary
Practifi builds Salesforce-native software for financial advisors and operates as a remote-first SaaS company serving regulated industries. The Technical SaaS Project Manager will own client implementation projects end to end, coordinating project plans, technical tasks, scope, timelines, client communication, UAT, go-live, and post-launch support.
Responsibilities
- Build the project plan with the client based on the signed SOW, then run the kickoff that sets the tone for the whole engagement
- Own the project through every stage of the implementation lifecycle, from requirements gathering through UAT, go-live, and the two-week post-go-live support window
- Create and manage every JIRA task tied to technical work, with the right assignment, sprint, story points, and due date, and keep Asana milestone plans current
- Protect scope. When something falls outside the SOW, you flag it for intake or deferral instead of letting it quietly become unbilled work
Skills
- 3–5 years of project management experience, ideally in fintech, insurance, banking, or another regulated industry where compliance and process discipline matter
- Hands-on experience running projects in JIRA and Asana, including task creation, sprint assignment, and status tracking
- Strong written and verbal communication skills. You'll be the primary voice clients hear between kickoff and go-live
- Comfort holding clients and internal teams accountable to a plan, diplomatically but firmly
- PMP or Certified Scrum Master (or actively working toward one)
- Prior experience implementing SaaS or CRM software (Salesforce experience is a strong plus, not a requirement)
- Experience working with data engineers or technical teams on system implementations
