IT Business Analyst (D365 or Certinia)

Summary

Presidio is a technology company focused on digital solutions, AI, automation, security, networking, cloud computing, and data insights. The IT Business Analyst will advise business stakeholders and technology teams, gather and translate requirements, optimize processes, and support implementations and post-implementation systems. The role focuses on Dynamics 365 F&O or Certinia business processes, including financial, project, forecasting, and revenue recognition functions.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to elicit, document, and validate business requirements
• Translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories, and process flows
• Partner with Solution Architects, Developers, and QA teams to ensure requirements are accurately implemented
• Conduct gap analysis, feasibility studies, and impact assessments for proposed changes
• Facilitate workshops, stakeholder meetings, and requirements gathering sessions
• Analyze existing business processes and recommend enhancements for efficiency and effectiveness
• Support user acceptance testing (UAT) by developing test scenarios, tracking defects, and ensuring issues are resolved
• Prepare documentation such as business requirements documents (BRD), functional specifications, and workflow diagrams
• Provide ongoing support for systems, processes, and applications post-implementation

Skills

• * Bachelor's degree (preferably in BA / BS in Computer Science, Business, MIS) or the equivalent work experience and / or military experience
• * 3+ years of experience working as an adept business analyst on software development teams
• * Strong working knowledge with SQL, Salesforce, Power BI, and technical writing
• * Advanced in MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and MS Visio / LucidChart
• * Proficient+ in agile software development methodologies and Board management, e.g. AzureDevops & Jira
• * Strong understanding of project management
• * Experience with large implementations / third party vendor tools / integrating with ERP, CRM, PSA, and Portal tools
• * 2-4 years' experience with Dynamics 365 F&O General Ledger / AP / ExFlow AP or Certinia Quote to Order / Project Scope to Closure / Forecasting & RevRec / Personas
• * Strong analytical, strategic, and problem-solving capabilities
• * Skilled in business process modeling, requirements elicitation, and gap analysis
• * Ability to simplify complex systems and processes, providing insights to support strategic decision-making
• * Proven capacity to manage multiple concurrent work streams and shifting priorities
• * Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• * Strong presentation and facilitation abilities, including creating and delivering impactful materials
• * Skilled at conducting interviews, workshops, and discovery sessions to surface essential requirements
• * Experienced in building and maintaining effective relationships with business units, partners, and executives
• * Adaptable and flexible, able to thrive in dynamic and fast-changing environments
• * Broad business and technical knowledge, with the acumen to connect people, processes, and tools to achieve organizational goals
• * Direct support of end users in Dynamics 365 F&O General Ledger / AP / ExFlow AP or direct support of end users in Certinia Quote to Order / Project Scope to Closure / Forecasting & RevRec / Personas
• * Other preferred application experience: Salesforce, CPQ, Vertex, ExFlow, Xait
• * Must be a US Citizen
• * Strong background in accounting and financial systems, with experience supporting financial teams and systems is a plus
• * Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) certifications with a minimum of 3 applied years is a plus
