Summary
Protect Democracy is a mission-driven organization seeking passionate and talented freelance designers to join their talent pool. The role involves creating visually appealing reports, graphics, and presentations while adhering to brand guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Using our Google templates to lay out clear, attractive, and brand-consistent reports, explainers, and presentations
- Designing custom graphics and charts for slide decks and publications
- Designing digital ads and social media graphics
- Developing icons or other new brand assets based on existing visual brand identity
- Creating new Google templates
Skills
- Expertise using Google Suite
- Expertise using Adobe Creative Suite
- Expertise using Figma
- A strong eye for document layout and typographic hierarchy
- Understanding of how to design within an established brand system
- Experience communicating governmental, electoral, and political concepts visually
- Experience with social media content creation
- Motion graphics
- Animation
- Video editing
- Front-end website development
