Summary

Public Consulting Group is a public sector solutions and operations improvement firm serving health, education, and human services agencies. The Consultant will advise state and local education partners in Maryland, lead client engagements, develop strategic solutions, and support initiatives involving special education, strategic planning, and data management. The role also focuses on client retention, relationship growth, and statewide business development.

Responsibilities

Leads account and client management efforts by cultivating relationships, aligning solutions with client objectives, driving client retention, and advancing opportunities for continued partnership and growth
Demonstrates strong project management skills, effectively leading multiple client engagements, coordinating cross-functional teams, managing timelines and deliverables, and ensuring successful project outcomes that align with client goals
Develops and maintains a statewide growth strategy for Maryland, aligning client needs, market opportunities, and organizational priorities to expand PCG’s presence, strengthen partnerships, and increase impact across the education sector
Creative problem-solving ability and a consultancy mindset
Ability to keenly listen to client needs and align to PCG’s products and services
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from project leadership, colleagues, and clients
Actively recognize areas for improvement, as well as promote and execute collaborative solutions
Commitment to exceptional client service and confidently lead with credibility
