Job description
Summary
PulseSync Pte Ltd is seeking an Intern (Support) to assist in implementing back-end services and APIs. The role involves debugging issues, coordinating projects, and managing administrative tasks while conforming to best practices in software development.
Responsibilities
- Work with developers to implement back-end services, APIs, and internal tools
- Debug issues and address performance bottlenecks
- Conform to modern best practices and coding standards
- Integrate applications with databases and work with table structures and data querying
- Write and implement unit tests
- Read and produce technical documentation
- Coordinate projects and manage administrative work
Skills
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree (Software Engineering, Computer Science, IT, Information Systems, or related fields)
- Must have completed 2nd year
- Must be able to commit to full 3 months of internship
- Proficient with 2 or more of the following programming languages or technologies: PHP, ASP.NET, C#, HTML5, C++, Java, Swift, AWS, RESTful API, JSON, XML, MS SQL Server and databases
- General understanding of software architecture and technologies (e.g. enterprise architecture, RESTful API, MS Dynamics CRM)
- Excellent command of the English language
- Strong research and problem-solving skills
- Excellent work ethic, driven, critical thinker, willing to take on varied challenges, time management skills, able to work and seek information or help independently
- Software repo, portfolio, or sample a strong plus
