Job description

Summary

PURE Insurance is a member-owned property and casualty insurer serving financially successful families. The Product Development Specialist executes coverage initiatives and analyzes, implements, and maintains policy forms and endorsements, while monitoring legislative and industry developments and supporting coverage innovation and system specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Execute coverage initiatives that drive growth and strengthen PURE's competitive position
  • Monitor countrywide legislative changes and recommend any coverage impact of those changes
  • Analyze existing coverage and execute approved changes from filing through systems implementation
  • Maintain current knowledge of competitor actions, industry developments and Member needs and drive coverage innovation to meet the needs of PURE’s target market
  • Carries out the creation of system specifications for coverage and form changes within our policy management system

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree required with 1-3 years relevant work experience
  • Exceptional analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills with an ability to comprehend, interpret and draft moderate to complex policy language
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise independent judgment, manage competing priorities, and execute multiple projects with minimal supervision
  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
  • Experience using Word and Excel
  • Eagerness to develop new skills and enhance expertise
