Summary
Rackner is a software consultancy that builds cloud-native solutions for startups, enterprises, and the public sector. As a Computer Scientist Intern, you will work closely with experienced team members on research, development, and problem-solving projects, focusing on automation of business processes and DevSecOps tools.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the R&D team to design, develop, and implement software solutions and algorithms
- Conduct research on emerging technologies and industry trends to support project development
- Assist in troubleshooting and debugging software issues
- Participate in coding, testing, and documentation of software components
- Analyze and interpret data to generate insights and support decision-making
- Work on cross-functional projects and contribute to team discussions
- Learn and apply computer science principles to solve complex problems
- 10 hours/week during the school year, 40 hours/week in the summer, >51% of the time will be in office
Skills
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, C++, or similar
- Familiarity with data structures, algorithms, and software development methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced and evolving tech environment
- Passion for technology and a desire to contribute to innovative projects
- Must be able to prove HUBZone occupancy in the current year within the first week of employment using one of the following methods: Lease covering March 26-September 23, Drivers License acquired before March 26, Voter Registration Card acquired before March 26
