Mechanical Engineer (0-4 years exp) - Data Center Cooling Systems

RealStreet Staffing is actively seeking an Application Engineer to support our client, a well established product development and manufacturing firm in the Frederick, MD area.  Our client is a global provider of innovative data center cooling solutions and services.  The Application Engineer will provide advanced level technical sales support for Precision AC and Ultrasonic Humidification product lines.  In addition the Application Engineer will provide customer facing support for all product lines.  Specific duties include:

• Respond to customer request to provide technical support and guidance with product selection for all air conditioning and humidification product lines. 
• Provide assistance to representatives by assisting in the submittal process. 
• Provide AC system performance runs utilizing vendor provided application programs. 
• Travel to customer and sales representative sites to give technical presentations and assist regional sales managers in supporting the various regions – approximately 20% travel. 
• Travel internationally to support the parent company may be required

• B.S. Mechanical Engineering
• 0-4 years experience in related field (mission critical hvac)
• Understanding of current data center design preferred
• Experience presenting technical presentations to peer level audiences
• Clear communication skills, able to speak effectively with a variety of audiences
• Able to speak fluent English.  Multilingual skills a plus.
• Strong background in thermodynamic design
• Precision cooling industry knowledge preferred
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office
