Business Analyst Dynamics AX- Remote

Summary

RF-SMART is a company seeking a Business Analyst to evaluate customer information needs and functional requirements and translate them into technical specifications for software development or implementation teams. The role serves as the liaison between customers and technical teams, supports Microsoft AX or D365 ERP solutions, leads testing, and advises customers on best-practice solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop functional and system design specifications for client engagements
• Assist Development and Support in troubleshooting systems or client issues
• Review and edit requirements, specifications, business processes, and recommendation related to proposed solution
• Quickly understands business issues and data challenges of client’s organization and industry
• Assume role of Trusted Advisor to customers, and be comfortable as primary contact to provide product information and best practice solutions
• Lead testing efforts
• Communicates specifications and change requests to development team

Skills

• This role requires experience with Microsoft AX or D365
• Bachelor degree in Business/related field or equivalent work experience
• Experience leading software requirements and design activities
• Microsoft AX or D365 knowledge and experience in ERP
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent presentation skills
• Good negotiation skills
• Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Microsoft Project skills
• Experience with ERP Distribution and Manufacturing applications
• Ability to work on multiple projects
• Employer does not sponsor applicants for employment visa status (e.g. H-1B visa status)
• Consulting experience is preferred
• Supply Chain experience preferred
• Previous data collection experience with barcode scanners or RFID a plus
• Technical or Application Development experience strongly preferred
