Job description
Summary
Rockford Combustion supports customers with industrial combustion and thermal systems. The Industrial Combustion Field Service Engineer works from a home office while traveling weekly to customer facilities to commission equipment, troubleshoot burner controls, support training, and improve system safety and reliability.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and solve burner control and electrical issues
- Perform point‑to‑point checkout, startup, and commissioning of new equipment
- Communicate effectively with client plant personnel
- Maintain accurate field service reports and manage expenses
- Identify opportunities for system upgrades and additional repairs
- Provide training support as required
- Other duties as required
