Job description
Summary
SAIC is seeking a Software Tester to support their Navy team in Poway, CA. The role involves developing, executing, and maintaining comprehensive test plans, as well as performing various types of testing to ensure software quality.
Responsibilities
- Develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing
- Identify, document, and track software defects using issue tracking tools
- Verify fixes and perform regression testing
Skills
- Bachelors degree and zero (0) or more years of college coursework in a technical field; Additional four (4) years' experience can be considered in lieu of degree
- Familiarity with various testing techniques and methodologies
- Proficiency in test management software
- Experience with automated testing tools
- Knowledge of programming languages C, C++, and Java
- Must have the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance; US Citizenship required
