Technology Support Technician Intern

Summary

Lynchburg City Schools is seeking a Technology Support Technician Intern to provide valuable services while training individuals pursuing a technology-based career. The intern will assist with summer textbook and IT tasks including inventory, repairs, and deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Textbook and Chromebook Inventory
• Chromebook repair
• Preparing new textbooks, consumables and chromebooks for deployment
• Removal of non-adopted books and materials
• Delivery of textbook materials and chromebooks when needed
• Assisting the IT team as needed with other tasks

Skills

• Eligible students will be in good standing with school Administrators
• Must be at least 16 years old
• Must be a licensed driver or have reliable transportation to and from work Monday-Friday
• Must be able to work both as part of a team or independently as needed
• Must be available June through mid-August, with reasonable time off for vacations or other activities
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Familiarity with Google applications
• Willingness to learn new applications and skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications
