Summary
Sectra is a technology company providing medical IT and secure communications solutions for healthcare organizations. The Project Manager will plan, execute, and oversee cloud deployment projects in North America, coordinating teams and resources, managing risks and budgets, communicating with stakeholders, and supporting continuous improvement of project delivery practices.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project objectives, scope, and deliverables for cloud deployments
- Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely delivery of cloud solutions while mitigating potential roadblocks
- Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure effective resource allocation
- Proactively identify and assess project risks, implementing mitigation strategies as needed
- Monitor project budgets, control costs, and report variances to ensure financial targets are met
- Facilitate clear, concise communication among project teams, stakeholders, and management with regular status updates
- Ensure the quality of cloud deployments by tracking performance benchmarks and user satisfaction
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including plans, reports, and key project records
- Address project issues and challenges promptly and collaboratively
- Contribute to continuous improvement of project delivery practices
- Engage in technical discussions with internal teams and customers to align project goals and execution
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3–5 years of experience in IT or project coordination/management
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills
- Desire to grow and advance in project management
- Working knowledge of cloud technologies
- PMP certification or formal training in project management
