Summary
Secure Engage is a fast-growing company focused on AI-powered cybersecurity and compliance solutions. They are seeking a Sales Engineer to act as a technical bridge between sales, product, and clients, supporting the sales team with demos and technical evaluations while customizing solutions for client-specific needs.
Responsibilities
- Act as the technical bridge between Sales, Product, and prospective clients—translating complex platform capabilities into clear, compelling value propositions
- Support the sales team during discovery, demos, and technical evaluations with banks, insurers, and law firms
- Customize demonstrations and proof-of-concepts (POCs) to client-specific use cases, especially in compliance and third-party risk
- Respond to RFPs, technical questionnaires, and security due diligence with accuracy and confidence
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to relay client feedback and help shape roadmap priorities
- Contribute to technical documentation, onboarding guides, and integration templates as needed
Skills
- 3–7 years of experience in a Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, or Pre-Sales role—ideally in SaaS, cybersecurity, or compliance platforms
- Strong understanding of B2B sales processes and enterprise stakeholder dynamics (CCOs, CISOs, legal teams)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to simplify technical concepts for non-technical audiences
- Experience working with APIs, secure workflows, and enterprise architecture discussions
- Familiarity with third-party risk, GRC frameworks (e.g., OSFI, SOC2, ISO 27001), and privacy/security standards is a strong asset
- Comfortable in fast-paced, collaborative startup environments

- 3–7 years of experience in a Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, or Pre-Sales role—ideally in SaaS, cybersecurity, or compliance platforms
