Job description
Summary
Smart IS is looking for enthusiastic and talented computer science graduates to join their dynamic team as a WMS Consultant. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in software development and contribute to various exciting projects.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, development, testing, and maintenance of software applications
- Write clean, scalable, and efficient code based on specifications and guidelines
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers
- Debug and resolve software defects and issues
- Work collaboratively with senior developers, project managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to project planning and execution
- Follow Agile development methodologies and participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, user manuals, and process flows
- Ensure documentation is up-to-date and accessible to relevant stakeholders
- Stay current with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in software development
- Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance technical skills and knowledge
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, C#, JavaScript)
- Basic understanding of software development principles and methodologies
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Knowledge of databases and SQL
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and logically
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
- Previous internship or project experience in software development is a plus
- Passion for technology and eagerness to learn and grow in the IT industry
- Familiarity with web development frameworks, mobile app development, or cloud computing is advantageous
