Job description
Summary
SMEUSA is seeking a Co-op student for a full-time assignment beginning in mid-June 2026. The role involves learning and applying data science tools, contributing to data pipelines, and assisting in the development of dashboards and reports using Power BI.
Responsibilities
- Learn and apply modern data science tools and techniques using Fabric
- Contribute to data pipelines, ETL processes, and automation efforts under guidance
- Support the development of data models and business metrics
- Assist in building dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Power BI
- Collaborate with IT and business teams to understand data needs
- Validate data accuracy and document datasets, transformations, and logic
Skills
- Experience with Python (Pandas), SQL, and Power BI
- Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric, SharePoint, and Teams
- Basic understanding of data concepts, analytics, and problem-solving
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Clear communication skills and ability to ask questions
Qualifications
