Renewals Manager

Summary

Sovos transforms tax compliance through AI-powered technology and human expertise that helps organizations navigate complex regulatory environments. The Renewals Manager will own the renewal process for a portfolio of SaaS customers, driving retention, growth, customer relationships, negotiations, operational excellence, and accurate forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders at customer organizations, partnering closely with Account Management and Customer Success to develop comprehensive account strategies
• Lead renewal negotiations with professionalism and strategic thinking, ensuring successful outcomes while identifying and pursuing upsell opportunities within your assigned accounts
• Implement renewals best practices that elevate the customer experience, streamline processes, and drive predictable results
• Maintain operational excellence throughout the renewal lifecycle, addressing challenges proactively and ensuring smooth execution from forecast to close
• Leverage AI tools and automation to streamline workflows and improve output quality, applying critical judgment to validate AI-generated content for accuracy and alignment with company standards
• Deliver consistent, accurate forecasting and meet or exceed renewal targets quarter over quarter

• You've built relevant experience managing SaaS renewals, with a track record of hitting or exceeding quota in a customer-facing role
• Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills are strengths you've developed, and you know how to navigate complex stakeholder dynamics
• You're comfortable working both independently and collaboratively, adapting quickly to new systems, processes, and product offerings
• Comfort with AI-assisted workflows and a thoughtful approach to using technology to work smarter
