Summary
Squarepoint Capital is looking for recent graduates to join their global team of Application and Infrastructure support specialists. The role involves applying technical and critical thinking skills to support trading applications and infrastructure services while coordinating the onboarding of new applications and managing changes to the production environment.
Responsibilities
- Support and fortify the stability of critical trading applications and infrastructure services
- Define and implement new processes
- Coordinate the onboarding of new applications broker connections or exchanges
- Own the careful management of changes to production environment
Skills
- Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Mechanical/Electrical/Network Engineering or a similar discipline
- Working knowledge of at least one of: Python, Bash, PowerShell
- Knowledge of Linux
- Good understanding of TCP/IP concepts
- General knowledge of database technologies
- Exceptional communication skills, attention to detail and ability to work within a global team
- Eagerness to continuously learn new technologies and develop with us
- Curious and driven by the challenge of solving new problems
- Some experience working in a similar environment, demonstrated through work experience or personal projects
- Knowledge of financial instruments
- Knowledge of experience programming front-end applications
- Knowledge of Kubernetes, Gitlab, Prometheus, or Ansible
- An understanding of CI/CD or other Infrastructure as Code concepts
Qualifications
