  • Develop and maintain test plans, test data, defect records, application procedures, test environments, and release-validation documentation
  • Coordinate and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including preparation, execution, issue resolution, and stakeholder acceptance
  • Evaluate application releases, upgrades, patches, enhancements, and configuration changes for functional and operational impact
  • Support application deployments using endpoint-management tools such as Microsoft Configuration Manager (MECM/SCCM) and Microsoft Intune
  • Perform pre-production validation, post-deployment smoke testing, and production verification
  • Monitor post-release application performance and document corrective and preventive actions when issues occur
  • Maintain test evidence, configuration records, workflows, release procedures, and technical knowledge-base documentation
  • Recommend improvements to application testing, packaging, deployment practices, business workflows, and QA methodologies
  • Ensure application changes comply with established change-control, cybersecurity, documentation, and software quality standards

Skills

  • Experience with defect-tracking or application lifecycle-management platforms such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or ServiceNow
  • Working knowledge of relational databases and SQL for validation, reconciliation, and troubleshooting
  • Ability to troubleshoot applications using installation logs, event logs, application logs, error messages, database records, and system reports
  • Experience with Windows desktop operating systems and application installation technologies
  • Familiarity with endpoint deployment and management tools, including Microsoft Configuration Manager (MECM/SCCM) and Microsoft Intune
  • Familiarity with REST APIs, web services, system interfaces, and enterprise application integrations
