Summary

Technology Partners is currently seeking a talented Software Developer with expertise in ServiceNow development, JavaScript, and API scripting. The role involves creating, modifying, and maintaining software solutions within ServiceNow, collaborating with project teams to deliver high-quality modules and enhancements.

Responsibilities

• Modify medium to complex code and develop highly complex application components independently
• Review and present code specifications, logic, and designs during team and stakeholder meetings
• Perform local development builds, integration, and code merges across different environments
• Test, troubleshoot, and fix defects regardless of complexity, and develop associated test scripts
• Analyze software requirements to assess feasibility within time and cost constraints
• Escalate and resolve complex issues, recommending and implementing solutions
• Create and maintain documentation for application modifications and updates
• Collaborate with project teams to coordinate activities and ensure milestones are met
• Monitor application logs and system status, taking appropriate actions as needed
• Participate in on-call rotations and contribute to process improvement initiatives

Skills

• 3+ years of software development experience
• 2+ years of ServiceNow development experience
• 2+ years of JavaScript programming
• Proven experience with API scripting using Web Services (REST, SOAP)
• Proficiency with Shell scripting (SSH, PowerShell)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Effective time management and organizational abilities
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
• Reside in St. Louis, Missouri, or the immediate surrounding area
• Commitment to incorporating security best practices into daily work
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle
• Familiarity with usability methods and user experience principles
