Summary

As a Project Manager, you will support the planning, execution, and closure of projects, manage project documentation, evaluate risks, and ensure adherence to project management best practices.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of the product development plan, including activity planning, budget management, schedule adherence, resourcing, and milestone tracking to ensure on-time and within-budget project
- Actively maintain internal project management tools (e.g., SmartSheet), ensuring accuracy in scheduling, risk assessment, RAID logs, and data
- Regularly update and track progress using standardized dashboard reporting
- Act as the key internal contact for projects, fostering strong cross-functional relationships
- Facilitate regular project updates, document decisions and follow-ups and provide leadership to resolve issues and ensure alignment with business objectives
- Contribute to integrated project teams across the matrixed organization, collaborating with departments such as clinical operations, regulatory, manufacturing, supply chain, and quality to achieve project
- Proactively identify, assess, and manage project risks, track mitigation actions, owners, and due dates, and schedule impacts and ensure proper submission to the change management process to maintain project integrity
- Develop, maintain, and report all project schedule information, ensuring transparency and adherence across all levels of the organization
- Identify schedule risks or slippage and support corrective actions when necessary
- Support budget tracking, accruals, purchase orders, SOWs, invoice follow-ups, vendor deliverables, and external partner commitments
- Manage cross-functional reporting relationships to ensure traceability of project data and alignment with other systems in the organization
- Ensure consistency and accessibility of data for key stakeholders
- Collaborate with department leadership to ensure KPIs are met
- Lead and manage complex programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, while navigating multi-faceted challenges
Skills
- Postgraduate qualifications (Bachelor's or above) in science or life sciences
- Minimum 2+ years of pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry experience including products in preclinical and clinical development (Phase 1-3)
- Entry level of project management experience with multiple small projects or one complex project
- Expertise in at least at least one pharmaceutical drug development functions (clinical ops, manufacturing development, regulatory, or non-clinical development)
- Experience working as part of a cross-functional team
- Experience maintaining project management software solutions and project management tools
- Minimum 2+ years of project and financial management experience
- SmartSheet experience preferred
