Job description
Summary
The Building People are seeking a qualified Mid-Level Application Developer to support immediate IBM Maximo solution delivery as well as other COTS solution technologies. The role involves applying engineering principles to complex assignments and contributing to deliverables for a range of customers.
Responsibilities
- Apply engineering theory and principles to problems, usually under the direction of engineering staff
- Possesses and applies expertise on multiple complex work assignments. Assignments may be broad in nature, requiring originality and innovation in determining how to accomplish tasks. Operates with appreciable latitude in developing methodology and presenting solutions to problems. Contributes to deliverables and performance metrics where applicable
Skills
- High School & 5+ years of related experience, 6 years' work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree
- Basic understanding of Maximo 7.x configuration and support concepts (e.g., Integration Framework, reporting tools, or scripting)
- Foundational knowledge of programming languages such as Java or Python, with exposure to databases (e.g., SQL)
- Secret Clearance
- Full Time Remote with expected little to no travel
- Familiarity with Maximo tools such as Migration Manager, Workflow Designer, Application Designer, or Database Configuration is a plus
- Interest in learning Maximo deployment practices and pursuing relevant certifications over time
