Job description
Summary
Toyon Research Corporation is seeking Algorithm Developers capable of developing advanced algorithms and software for image/video, radar, and other signal processing applications. The role requires a strong background in engineering, computer science, physics, or applied mathematics, along with experience in algorithm development and software programming.
Responsibilities
- Develop advanced algorithms and software for image/video, radar, and other signal processing applications
- Collaborate with other team members on software development using Python and/or C++
- Develop and test algorithms for processing real-world image or radar data
Skills
- U.S. Citizenship Required
- Ability to qualify for a US Department of Defense security clearance required
- Strong background in engineering, computer science, physics, and/or applied mathematics
- An advanced degree (M.S./Ph.D.) or a Bachelor's degree and at least two years of industry experience are required
- Experience with software development using the Python and/or C++ computer languages
- Experience with collaborative development with other team members
- Experience developing and testing algorithms for processing real-world image or radar data is strongly desired
- Experience with wave physics (RF, acoustic, optical) is strongly desired
