Summary

TÜV Rheinland North America is a leader in safety, quality, and innovation in the products business unit. The Field Evaluation Test Engineer will perform chemical, mechanical, and electrical analyses in a laboratory, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Performs standard and (if applicable) non-standard chemical mechanical and/or electrical analyses or tests in a laboratory that require a higher education
  • Records results in laboratory test report, evaluates results if applicable
  • Installs, operates and maintains laboratory test equipment
  • Might calibrate and repair test equipment
  • Might supervise junior staff
  • Might assist in development of new tests
  • Takes care of sample disposal and sample return
  • Other duties as assigned

  • 3-5 years of professional experience in related area
