Summary
TÜV SÜD is a technology-focused company providing testing, auditing, inspection, and advisory services. The Client Services Representative & Sales Development role manages customer inquiries, supports client experiences, qualifies and routes sales leads, maintains CRM information, and collaborates with Sales, Marketing, and internal teams to improve retention and generate sales opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and qualify inbound leads based on customer needs, level of interest, budget, and alignment with TÜV SÜD products and services
- Engage prospects through phone, email, web chat, LinkedIn, and other communication channels, and route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales representative for timely follow-up
- Coordinate communication between prospects, customers, and Sales to support smooth handoffs and progression throughout the sales process
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams on lead generation, conversion activities, customer feedback, and improvements to the overall customer journey
- Serve as a liaison for customer inquiries related to scheduling, invoices, certificates, report verification, and other service needs by connecting customers with the appropriate internal teams
- Maintain accurate lead, opportunity, customer interaction, and sales activity information within CRM systems while supporting pipeline tracking, documentation, and reporting
- Provide responsive, accurate, and professional customer support while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
- 1–2 years of experience in a technical or engineering sales environment supporting leads, opportunities, customer interactions, or sales activities through a CRM system
- Experience working with CRM platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics, Zoho CRM, or similar systems
- Working knowledge of sales pipeline management and lead qualification processes, with the ability to learn and communicate technical products and services to prospective and existing customers
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word, along with strong data-entry, documentation, and reporting skills
- Strong written and verbal communication, customer service, organizational, and collaboration skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities, adapt to changing business needs, and work effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- The role requires frequent communication by telephone, email, and other communication tools and may involve extended periods of sitting and computer use

Qualifications
Must Haves
