Summary
Unified Women's Healthcare is a nationwide provider of comprehensive women's health services. The Accountant II supports daily accounting operations, including complex journal entries, account reconciliations, month-end and year-end close activities, research, and analysis while working independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
Responsibilities
- Preparation of complex journal entries
- Complex intercompany advanced journal entries
- Prepaid amortization and accruals
- Complex balance sheet reconciliations using large data volumes requiring research and detailed analyses
- Month end close tasks including flux analyses
- Assist with yearend close research and analyses
- Ad hoc requests as they arise
- Ability to manage deadlines accurately and timely in a fully remote environment
- Expected to work independently on assigned tasks while working in a collaborative
Skills
- Bachelor's degree and 2 years experience or equivalent years of work experience required
- Expert proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Word. NetSuite and Blackline experience helpful
- Experience communicating logically and clearly both orally and in writing
- Demonstrate ability to work in a fast-paced remote environment
- Ability to provide excellent, client-focused service
- Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality
- Experience working with Pivot Tables, Vlookup and other Excel functionality
- Well organized, detail oriented with the ability to multi-task, meet deadlines with accuracy
- Two years experience working as an Accountant in the healthcare field preferred
