Summary
University of Michigan Health-West is seeking an Entry-Level Application Systems Analyst to provide foundational support for application systems. This role involves troubleshooting, minor configurations, and developing technical and analytical skills in application management.
Responsibilities
- Assist in analyzing and resolving basic application issues, escalating complex problems as needed
- Performs primary support of applications as experience progresses
- Monitor applications for performance issues, escalating as needed
- Collaborate with team members, included in vendor relationships
- Document workflows, configurations, and issue resolutions according to standards
- Collaborate with team members to ensure effective communication of application issues
- Develop foundational skills in application management and problem-solving
- Perform minor system configurations and support system upgrades
Skills
- High school diploma and a minimum of 3 years of application analysis experience OR Associates degree computer science, IT or related field and a minimum of 1 year of application analysis experience OR Bachelors degree in computer science, IT or related field
- Must have exposure to IT support or customer service
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and documentation skills
- Ideal candidate will have experience in application management and troubleshooting
