USA Sport Group is a growing organization that has become the #1 provider in community sports, offering sports camps and classes from ages 2 to adult in a wide variety of sports & for all ability levels.

We are seeking energetic, hard-working, college students to join our internship team for the Spring, Summer, and Fall semesters. These internships can provide you with college course credits or simply provide the necessary work experience to prepare you for your future career.

HR & Recruitment

Join our HR & Recruitment Team and gain real-world experience in recruitment, onboarding, and compliance for one of the region's top youth sports organizations!

You will work under the guidance of the Human Resources Manager and Recruitment Manager to gain practical experience in posting job opportunities, screening applicants, scheduling interviews, conducting virtual assessments, and supporting the onboarding process from start to finish.

What You'll Do:

• Assist with posting job opportunities and screening candidates
• Support recruitment events, career fairs, and onboarding workshops
• Provide clear communication and support to candidates and new hires
• Perform background checks, reference verification, and track necessary certifications
• Ensure coaches are fully compliant and ready to work in accordance with state laws
• Perform research related to recruitment strategies, labor trends, and HR best practices
• Maintain and update employee records and profiles

Interview Stages

Application

You will submit an application along with your resume for the department(s) and role in which you are interested in interning. Please use the link above to do so.2

Virtual Presentation

Your details will be screened to determine your suitability and if accepted you will be invited to an Internship Informational Event. This is where you will learn more about the company, and the internship program, and be able to ask questions.

Interview

You will now be invited to a 1:1 interview. This is for us to learn a little more about your experience, philosophies, and motivations to join our team, and give you a chance to ask more specific questions.4

Internship Offer

Approved candidates will be offered a position based on department suitability and your areas of interest.5

Orientation

All accepted interns will attend our formal Internship Orientation, where you will meet your manager, the entire internship team, and take a tour of the office.

Semester Application Deadlines

Spring Semester

• Application deadline: December 15th
• Internship Starts: Mid-January
• Duration: 15 Weeks

Summer Semester

• Application deadline: April 15th
• Internship Starts: End of May
• Duration: 10 Weeks

Fall Semester

• Application deadline: August 1st
• Internship Starts: Early September
• Duration: 15 Weeks
