Job description

Summary

Veeva Systems is a mission-driven organization and pioneer in industry cloud for the life sciences industry. The Technical Consultant will investigate and implement customer integrations, coordinate with stakeholders and vendors, support SiteVault migrations, and help shape integration design and implementation strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement integrations that align with customer goals
  • Set up SSO and Microsoft Collaborative Authoring integrations for new customers
  • Provide valuable feedback to our Product, Engineering, and other teams to improve the product and processes
  • Support customers in migrating onto SiteVault, including transforming, loading, and supporting verification of large data sets
  • Design and build tools to execute high-volume targeted data updates in production environments

Skills

  • 3+ years of experience in enterprise software implementation in life sciences, healthcare, or relevant fields
  • Experience working with customers and third-parties directly, developing meaningful customer relationships, and gathering requirements with business and system stakeholders
  • Ability to act with speed to understand requirements, create corresponding solutions, and willingness to roll up your sleeves
  • Ideal candidates will have experience leading the design and deployment of innovative integration solutions within the Life Sciences or Healthcare sectors
  • Experience with large-scale healthcare IT deployments and standard integration patterns
  • Experience leading or establishing plan for data validation, mapping, and testing efforts
  • Experience with popular healthcare interoperability standards (e.g. HL7v2, FHIR) and widely accepted authentications/authorization schemes (e.g. OAuth2)
  • Comfortable working with technical interface specifications from other vendors, and troubleshooting interface issues on the fly
  • Experience developing reusable integrations with multiple vendors and developing model implementation plans
  • Experience with large-scale data migrations
  • Proficient in git and version control
  • Coding experience, preferably with Python and SQL
  • SaaS/cloud experience in the management of site CTMS or eISF systems
  • Clinical research experience at a site
