Summary
Wave Life Sciences is a biotechnology company focused on developing RNA medicines to transform human health. The Quality Assurance Co-op will support the operation and improvement of quality systems, particularly documentation processes, while gaining experience with QA functions, quality systems, and GMP documentation principles.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to initiatives for improving document archival efficiency, such as development of a formal intake process and creation of a tracking system for off-site archival eligibility
- Support electronic ‘true copy’ program implementation, including creation of true copies for upload into a controlled digital repository
- Create an indexed inventory of legacy documentation and prepare documents for transfer to off-site archive
- Participate in the establishment of a secondary document archive room by relocating and organizing previously unarchived records for efficient retrieval
- Support routine document control functions including filing and organization of controlled documents, disaster recovery readiness, issuance and reconciliation of logbooks and notebooks, and document formatting
- Revise controlled document templates for internal consistency and formatting best practices
- Transfer of documents currently in SharePoint into a GxP repository
- Other duties as assigned
Skills
- Working towards a bachelor's degree in chemistry or a related discipline (i.e. biochemistry, chemical engineering, biology, etc.)
- At least two years of an undergraduate education completed within a related discipline
- Must possess excellent oral and written skills, as well as superior organizational skills
- Effective Communication, strong written and verbal communication skills
