Summary
Wave Life Sciences is a biotechnology company developing RNA medicines to address rare and prevalent disorders. The company is seeking an Intellectual Property/Data Science Co-op to develop custom IP applications within an agile software development team, creating tools for internal scientific research partners. The role involves frontend and backend development across multiple projects.
Responsibilities
- Improving your coding skills
- Writing, documenting, and maintaining code
- Learning and following agile processes
- Attending IP/development team meetings
- Providing honest, constructive feedback to all IP and development team members
Skills
- Completed Master's level coursework in computer science, engineering or a related subject
- Completed at least 2 programming courses
- Completed at least 2 undergraduate level biology and chemistry courses
- Experience with SQL, Python, or JavaScript
- Driven, curious and able to work both independently and collaboratively
- Experience using source code version control systems
- Ability to learn new software and technologies quickly
- Data extraction
- Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment
- Detail-oriented
Qualifications
