Junior Software Engineer

Summary

Xpert Development is looking for an enthusiastic Junior Software Engineer to join their growing engineering team. The role involves writing, testing, and maintaining clean code, collaborating on feature improvements, and participating in team activities.

Responsibilities

• Write, test, and maintain clean, well-documented code under the guidance of senior engineers
• Collaborate with the team to build and improve features across our platform
• Participate in code reviews, team standups, and sprint planning
• Help debug, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in existing applications
• Continuously learn new technologies, tools, and engineering best practices

Skills

• 0–2 years of professional software development experience, including internships, bootcamps, or significant personal projects
• Foundational knowledge of at least one modern programming language such as Python, JavaScript, Go, or Java
• Understanding of core data structures, algorithms, and version control with Git
• Strong willingness to learn, take feedback, and grow as an engineer
• Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote team
