Job description

Summary

Abramson Labor Group is an employment and workers' compensation law firm dedicated to advocating for employees' rights. The company is seeking a Workers' Compensation Associate Attorney to manage cases through resolution, handle depositions, respond to client inquiries, and provide guidance to support staff while working remotely in the Bay Area.

Responsibilities

  • Managing a docket of cases to resolution
  • Depositions:
  • Preparing client for deposition
  • Attending depositions
  • Invoicing Depositions
  • Responding to client inquiries that require attorney negations and moving matters towards resolution
  • Responsive to incoming emails and phone calls
  • Providing direction and guidance to non-attorneys as needed
  • Team Player:
  • Bringing positivity to the workplace and leading non-attorneys by example
  • Participation in team events during work and after work hours
  • Providing feedback to management to ensure ALG performs the best it can for our clients

Skills

  • **Candidates *MUST* be California State Barred and reside in Northern California**
  • * 3+ Years of Workers' Compensation Experience Required
  • * Comfortable with fast-paced work environments
  • * Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
  • * Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • * Candidates must be in good standing with the California State Bar
  • * Doctors' deposition experience (preferred)
