Summary
Ace IT Careers is currently reviewing candidates for Software QA Analyst and Software Tester opportunities available through our recruiting and employer network. The role involves ensuring that websites, applications, APIs, and business systems work correctly before they reach customers.
Responsibilities
- Understanding business requirements
- Creating test scenarios and test cases
- Testing web applications
- Identifying software defects
- Reporting issues to development teams
- Regression testing
- API and database validation
- Automation testing
- Supporting Agile development teams
Skills
- Interest in building or transitioning into a career in Software Quality Assurance
- Basic computer and technology proficiency
- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
- Ability to understand business requirements and identify potential issues
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Willingness to learn Manual Testing, Automation, API Testing, SQL, and modern QA tools
- Ability to attend technical evaluations and mock interviews as part of the readiness process
- Previous professional QA experience is not required for all opportunities
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent education preferred, depending on employer requirements
