Summary
Acxiom helps leading brands use data, technology, and analytics to drive business growth. The Intern - Commercial Financial Analyst will support pricing and commercial finance activities through financial analysis, pricing models, research, reporting, and recommendations that guide revenue and profitability decisions.
Responsibilities
- Develops, interprets and implements revenue and cost levels of estimates for pricing opportunities
- Performs technical analysis to determine present and future financial performance related to the pricing model
- Gathers, analyzes, prepares and summarizes recommendations for the pricing model and expected results
- Performs research and studies in the areas of pricing trends, reasons for wins and losses, and actual results versus the pro forma pricing model
- Assist in developing and maintaining pricing models for business opportunities
- Support revenue, cost, and profitability analyses for prospective and existing client engagements
- Research pricing trends, competitive market information, and industry benchmarks
- Help evaluate actual business results against forecasts and assumptions
- Partner with Finance, Sales, Operations, and Strategy teams on pricing-related projects
- Support preparation of reports, presentations, and recommendations for business stakeholders
- Analyze data and identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks
- Assist with process improvement and automation initiatives
- Learn how commercial and financial decisions influence business performance
