Summary
Advita Ortho is focused on innovation in the orthopedic field, creating advanced surgical experiences and improving patient mobility. They are seeking a Quality Assurance Intern to assist the QA Engineering team with various projects aimed at enhancing the Quality program.
Responsibilities
- Provide support for post-market complaint investigations
- Provide support for inspection planning and requirements generation, manufacturing quality planning, and execution
- Provide support ot facilitate resolution of product non-conformities
- Provide support for risk management files and their creation/assessment
- Assist in the planning, creation, and execution of automated programs and measurement systems analysis (MSA)
- Assist in the creation of Quality Management System (QMS) SOPs, Wis, and Forms
- Assist in corrective and preventive action projects as necessary
- Know and apply the Quality System and any appropriate Federal and International standards
- Assist and support other employees, teams, and sales personnel as necessary
Skills
- Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Materials Science or equivalent from an accredited institution required
- Must be enrolled in either Junior or Senior year of their Bachelors or final year of their graduate program in Mechanical, Biomedical, or Material Sciences
- Must have excellent communication (verbal & written) and organizational skills
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills and must be able to work effectively in a team environment
