Job description

Summary

Aprio is a CPA and advisory firm serving fast-growing businesses and industry leaders. The Audit Project Specialist supports audit operations by preparing work papers, managing client confirmations, maintaining and enhancing Caseware templates, and setting up audit files.

Responsibilities

  • Preparing audit work papers and adjusting trial balances
  • Preparing, sending, and tracking client confirmations
  • Maintenance of Caseware templates to be used by department
  • Implementing enhancements to Caseware templates
  • Power user Caseware and Caseview
  • Initial set up of Caseware files for clients and routine rollovers
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned

Skills

  • 2-year associate degree or equivalent experience
  • Strong computer and technical skills including Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Willingness to learn new software skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills
  • Working effectively and personably with clients and co-workers
