Traveling Superintendent Intern (Summer 2027)

Summary

ARCO is a family of construction companies and design-build experts. The Traveling Superintendent Intern will assist superintendents with jobsite activities, scheduling, subcontractor coordination, project execution, and tasks throughout the project life cycle while traveling within the United States.

Responsibilities

• Visit Jobsites and get hands on experience from our expert field personnel on projects in a variety of industries including, commercial, industrial, distribution, office, multi-family, entertainment and more
• Learn various skills from the Superintendent on the job including creating schedules, talking to subcontractors, running a project smoothly from start to finish and working with the Superintendent on the job
• You will make a meaningful contribution to ARCO’s success, performing critical tasks in every stage of the project life cycle

Skills

• Minimum Grade Point Average of 3.0 out of 4.0
• Enrolled in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or other related degree programs
• Excellent verbal communication skills and a strong work ethic
• 100% willing to travel within the United States
• Co-op or Intern construction experience preferred, but not required

Qualifications

Must Haves

• Minimum Grade Point Average of 3.0 out of 4.0
• Enrolled in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or other related degree programs
• Excellent verbal communication skills and a strong work ethic
• 100% willing to travel within the United States

Nice to Haves

• Co-op or Intern construction experience preferred, but not required
