Job description
Summary
Asendia AI is an AI-powered recruiting platform that helps staffing firms find, engage, and place candidates more efficiently. The Staffing Intern will support the founders with sourcing, screening, candidate coordination, recruiting operations, and improvements to hiring processes across multiple functions.
Responsibilities
- Source and identify strong candidates for open roles
- Review applications and résumés and help build candidate shortlists
- Reach out to candidates through LinkedIn, email, and other channels
- Conduct initial candidate screening and help evaluate fit
- Coordinate interviews between candidates, founders, and team members
- Keep our recruiting pipeline and candidate information organized and up to date
- Follow up with candidates throughout the interview process
- Research new sourcing channels, communities, and recruiting strategies
- Help improve our job descriptions, outreach messages, and hiring processes
- Support the founders with day-to-day recruiting and hiring priorities
Skills
- School year: Senior and above
- Visa: US citizen/visa only
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
- Comfortable reaching out to and speaking with candidates
- Proactive and able to take ownership without constant direction
- Interest in recruiting, staffing, AI, and startups
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Previous recruiting, sourcing, HR, or staffing experience is a plus, but not required
Qualifications
