Intern - Accounting

Summary

Bemis Manufacturing Company is a family-owned manufacturer of plastic and wood products. The Accounting Intern will support accounts payable and assist with financial planning and analysis activities, including invoice processing, data validation, reporting, forecasting, and related projects.

Responsibilities

• Assisting our Accounts Payable Department
• Assist in implementing a new Financial Planning & Analysis software including validating historical data, recreating our existing reporting, and developing our future forecasting and planning processes
• Updating forecast and plan files
• Other related projects as necessary

Skills

• Currently in college pursuing an undergrad degree Accounting or other related area
• Skilled with MS Office products (Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to clearly communicate to all levels of the organization
• Organized and detail-oriented, able to prioritize tasks and work against deadlines
• Ability to work independently, stay focused yet able to multitask between projects

Qualifications
