Job description
Summary
Berkeley Square is recruiting for an IT and engineering role. The Release Manager will develop and implement release strategies, align processes across workstreams, and support delivery roadmaps for a multi-tier technology estate. The role also involves managing release roadmaps, automated release capabilities, source control, build pipelines, and test environment schedules.
Responsibilities
- Develop and obtain approval for the release strategy for the end-state Programme
- Ensure release strategy and processes are aligned across all workstreams where possible
- Implement necessary process changes to transition to the end-state release strategy in support of the delivery roadmap
Skills
- Candidates must hold Security Check (SC) clearance, or be eligible to apply for SC
- Prior release management experience is essential
- Out-of-hours (OOH) working may be required
- Demonstrable expertise in effective release management for multi-tier technology estates
- Minimum of 3 years of prior release management experience
- Proficiency in source control, code management, branching, and build pipelines
- Track record in creating, managing, and publishing release roadmaps
- Experience in implementing automated release management capabilities
- Previous involvement in managing multiple test environments and related release schedules
