Summary
Bio-Rad Laboratories develops research and clinical diagnostic products that support advancements in science and healthcare. The Diagnostic System Specialist installs and trains clients on clinical diagnostic products, coordinates qualification activities, develops validation protocols, analyzes data, resolves technical issues, and supports demonstrations, evaluations, correlations, and customer training.
Responsibilities
- Interacts with: Technical Service personnel, Field Service personnel, Sales and Marketing departments, Customer Services and distribution within the company, as well as customers
- Responsible for the Installation Qualification (IQ), Operational Qualification (OQ) and Performance Qualification (PQ)
- Performs and supports system demonstrations, evaluations and correlations as required, in house and / or at customer site
- Develops, coordinates and execute customer trainings for designated Bio-Rad Laboratories instruments and products as required. Provides post-installation and post-training follow-ups
- Identify trends and performs system/product failure analysis and escalation when applicable
Skills
- Education: Successful completion of a University degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or a related degree in the Medical Laboratory field
- Relevant work experience in a clinical diagnostic laboratory or company
- Experience with designing, setting-up and optimizing assays/experiments in a clinical setting
- Travelling flexibility required (about 60%-80%)
- Experience with bioanalytical techniques such as HPLC and/or enzymatic assays will be considered an asset
- Spanish language proficiency is an asset
