Job description

Summary

CERIS, a division of CorVel Corporation, provides healthcare payment solutions focused on clinical expertise, cost containment, accuracy, and transparency. The Setup Analyst I receives and enters medical claims, ensures billing accuracy and eligibility for review, communicates special claim handling requirements, and supports departmental production and quality goals.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure bill is eligible for MCS review
  • Handle/organize bills to be entered timely, proficiently, and accurately into internal system
  • Communicate any special handling of each claim
  • Maintains production standards and production requirements
  • Comply with standard protocol for processing problem claims
  • Responsible for high profile clients, including production, QC, communications, etc
  • May assist with training new employees
  • Function as back-up for filter or filter leads
  • Must be willing and able to work overtime as required
  • Assist co-workers, supervisor and management in accomplishing production goals
  • Maintain HIPAA compliance in all aspects of communications and performance of duties
  • Additional duties as assigned
