  • Use Chess.com design patterns and our established design system to create responsive, interactive experiences that balance engagement with simplicity

  • Present your work and explain your design decisions using clear rationale, user insights, and product context
  • Participate proactively in our Slack-heavy remote environment, ask questions early, suggest meaningful improvements, and contribute constructive feedback to the design team

Skills

  • Experience using AI-assisted tools like Cursor and Claude to prototype and iterate on ideas
  • Strong written and verbal communication, collaboration, ownership, and follow-through in a remote, globally distributed team
  • This is a full-time position
  • We are 100% remote (work from anywhere!)
  • This position is open to applicants globally and requires at least 3 hours of overlap with U.S. working hours
