They are looking for passionate and knowledgeable freelance gaming writers who can create timely, engaging content around the biggest stories, releases, trends, and conversations in the gaming industry.
Responsibilities
- Monitor gaming news cycles, trending topics and community conversations to surface timely content opportunities
- Work closely with editors and writers to align social distribution with editorial priorities and publishing schedules
- Comfortable working independently while meeting deadlines
- Ensure timely publication of relevant content aligned with SEO and engagement goals
- Follow editorial and formatting guidelines rigorously
Skills
- At least 2 years experience in digital journalism or online publishing
- Ability to independently write and publish clean, accurate content on tight deadlines
- Strong understanding of gaming culture, internet trends, memes, and online communities
- Passion for video games, entertainment, and digital storytelling
- Familiarity with SEO and CMS tools
