Summary
CommonSpirit Health is a nonprofit healthcare organization focused on integrated health services and innovative healthcare delivery. The IT Integration Engineer designs, develops, tests, implements, and maintains integrations between IT systems, troubleshoots data exchange issues, and supports application development with an emphasis on clinical and revenue cycle management workflows.
Responsibilities
- Designs, develops, tests, implements, and maintains solutions independently
- May be called upon to assist in major incidents or failures
- Participates in on-call rotations and Major incident resolution if required by role
- Participates in or Leads application development activities for a multiple single functional area to achieve project objectives
- Emphasis on Clinical and Revenue Cycle Management product lines and workflow
- Leads and coordinates code/peer reviews of single facility or application focused development work to insure it aligns to the business and technical requirements
- Remote eligible
Skills
- Bachelors Other in Computer Science, Technology, Medical, or Business discipline or equivalent experience
- 4-5 years of relevant experience
- Experience and understanding of hospital (Clinical and/or Revenue Cycle Management) or healthcare workflows
- Experience working with project life cycle and project management methodologies
- Experience working with HL7, HIPAA transactions sets, and EDI engines
Qualifications
Must Haves
- Bachelors Other in Computer Science, Technology, Medical, or Business discipline or equivalent experience
- 4-5 years of relevant experience
- Experience and understanding of hospital (Clinical and/or Revenue Cycle Management) or healthcare workflows
Nice to Haves
- Experience working with project life cycle and project management methodologies
- Experience working with HL7, HIPAA transactions sets, and EDI engines
