Job description

Summary

Xsolis is an AI-driven technology company focused on reducing administrative waste in healthcare through smarter collaboration between providers and payers. The Integration Engineer II develops, implements, configures, monitors, and troubleshoots integrations for Xsolis applications and services across internal and external platforms, while supporting healthcare data interfaces and customer issues.

Responsibilities

  • With occasional assistance from team and manager, works closely with application teams, subject matter experts, and third-party application experts to determine the business needs for interfaces, document the requirements, and configure the interfaces per the requirements
  • Provide proactive support by monitoring live interfaces and collaborating with SR Integration Engineer experts to provide permanent resolutions to problems
  • Support, troubleshoot, upgrade, and audit the interface engine
  • Research technical, interface and integration problems and routinely apply troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with minimal assistance
  • Create and maintain flat file pass-through for third-party entities and be able to support the integration tool used to map and troubleshoot
  • Maintain detailed architectural documentation for all deployed interfaces
  • Manage the flow of information between internal and external customers
  • Communicating and supporting internal and external customers by solving customer issues
  • Ability to review specifications and architect interfaces based on their design
  • Creating interfaces from scratch and documenting brand new interfaces for projects

Skills

  • • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • • 3-5 years of experience creating and maintain HL7 interfaces
  • • 1-3 years of experience with JavaScript Development
  • • 1-3 years of experience in a healthcare setting
  • • Basic knowledge of application support
  • • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of HL7 version 2.x message types and segment/field mapping (ADT, ORM, ORU, DFT, MDM, etc.)
  • • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of healthcare data exchange formats such as XML, CCD, CDA and DICOM, as well as healthcare data standards such as LOINC, CPT, IDC-9/ICD-10, and SNOMED
  • • Proficient with Microsoft SQL Server/MySQL database platform
  • • Working knowledge of TCP/IP security, networking, and data transport methods
  • • Ability to communicate information clearly and concisely
  • • Ability to problem solve/troubleshoot interface issues through research
  • • Experience working with Mirth Connect (or similar) interface engine
  • • Proficient working from the command line
  • • This role requires travel to our home offices in TN for training

Qualifications

Must Haves
